Third of nine views: Angry Birds everywhere
The launch of the latest Angry Birds game, Angry Birds Space took place in, uh, space. But I would like to see the the launch for the next one – Angry Birds Fried Ham And Eggs? – happen in Thailand, for a good reason!
You could not avoid seeing these birds in Bangkok. Already at the airport one can see big signs advertising Angry Birds credit cards (legally), and later in the markets and street side shops a myriad of different kind of t-shrits, shoes, watches and soft toys printed or somehow ‘logoed’ (illegally) with these lovely animals. Should we as Finns be proud about that? (Rovio, which has created Angry Birds, is a Finnish company.)
No wonder Angry Birds are so tempting for copyright thiefs: it is the most downloaded game today (global visibility), the birds are funny and pigs are cute (creates positivism) and they can be linked to everything (wide variability).
