Bangkok views – “Play it again, Sam, if you don’t feel too dizzy.”

Fifth of nine views: Open air music at 250 meters over the ground

One of the tallest hotels in Asia, Lebua at State Tower in Bangkok offers a breathtaking restaurant and bar experience, the Dome. One can expect that the prices are high as well – true, if you compare them to the street level restaurant prices in Bangkok, but reasonable for an occasional international traveler who comes to enjoy also  the view and not only the drink.

If you are faint-hearted, the Sky Bar at 65th floor is not for you: only a thin glass wall separates you from a 250 meters drop. And think about a majestic thunderstorm … I would love to see it from this level.

I guess there are not too many house bands who can enjoy the views like this, night after night. The drawback for the audience is that you might not be able hear much of the music due to the wind.
