The National Library of Finland, previously Helsinki University library, is a beautiful, seemingly small library, designed by renowned architect C. L. Engel. What we visitors can not see are the over hundred thousand meters of bookshelves underground.

You can also take a virtual tour to the library, if you are not able to come and see it.
