The long-legged Angels at Gendarmenmarkt Christmas Market in Berlin

Berlin is one of the best cities in Europe to visit christmas markets, and one of the most popular christmas markets in Berlin must be Gendarmenmarkt. It is a historical square surrounded by the Konzerthaus and the French and German Cathedrals. They all were badly damaged or destroyed during the World War II, left as ruins on the eastern side of Berlin, and rebuilt again 1970-1980.

Late Saturday a week ago the christmas market was very packed. We could hardly move around, but the tall (maybe three meters!), long-legged white christmas angels were a delight.
