No snow during Christmas this year?

Half of Finland will have no snow this Christmas. According to the weather statistics, this is not unheard but still uncommon.

This was not the case some years back, when the Christmas season in Helsinki was opened in a real blizzard. You could not ask for a better weather for such a day’s parade.

The horses didn't mind the weather.

  1. Thx for sharing the amazing photos. Have to save to go to Finland some day. I’ve learnt hungarian this last year so now I should learn Finish too to speak the strangest European languages 😛

  2. Wow! Wish I could have seen Helsinki like this! This is so beautiful, and it’s incredible how people seem to don’t mind the cold weather! (This is unusual for me cause I’m Brazilian :)) Great pictures!
