How to pack the car

Might not be the safest way to take your camping stuff with you, but if you need mattresses and yellow plastic chairs during your trip, take them.

Seen on the Atuel River canyon in Mendoza, Argentina some years ago. Parts of the road were muddy. Some cars got stuck and needed to be pushed.

Do you think all twelve people pictured also managed to squeeze into or onto the utility truck once it was out of the mud? They would in India, I think. A fine photograph. It has it all. An incident, humour, colour, texture, an interesting environment, distinct body types. Thanks

    • At least they had things for twelve.🙂 (There was also a bus full of people stuck in mud, waiting these daring travelers to pass.)
