Art for December 22nd: Birds, birds, birds …

This is partial repost, but I cannot help to like this mural. Danish artist Don John painted this in Mehringplatz, Kreuzberg in Berlin in 2014.

I repeat what I wrote earlier: “I stopped for a while to think what is the meaning of the colorful birds flying out of the head of the hooded person. My first thoughts: freedom to speak, equality of people, happiness of the individuality.”

Picture taken in June 2014.

I really love that one. I live in Berlin and enjoy to walk there and watch it now and then. Greetings from Berlin, Daniel

    • Thanks Daniel. The visits in Berlin are always a delight in many ways: art, atmosphere, people, mixture of cultures, history,… Btw, I noticed in one of your latest Berlin mural blogs (great images there!), that somebody has sprayed over this beautiful Don’s mural. Not a nice thing, IMO.
