Art for December 23rd: Fairy tales

Just wondering, what kind of fairy tales sculptor Mi Kuoppa (CV in Finnish) had in her mind when she created this bronze statue Bambi’s Fairy (Bambin haltiatar)?

Photographed on November 2013 in Galleria 4-kuus in Helsinki (blogged earlier with additional photos).

This is very funny and clever the way the fairy at first looks like another deer, then you blink and she’s a fairy with her hands on her shoulders, but as it also inspires thoughts not suitable for children, I’ll stop here. 🙂 What did you like about it, Ollie?
