Art for December 26th: Recycling

Trash into art! That is what Kristiina “Tikke” Tuura, a Finnish multitalented artist does. Her installations made of abandoned or found objects are often full of colors, always immersive and absolutely a great way to raise the importance of recycling. She has also a long career in movie industry. See Tikke working with debris in this video.

“Chandelier No 2” (below) is made of all kind of plastic bottles, toys etc. It was exhibited in Hanko, Finland in Gallery BackYard, a recurring summer exhibition by another artist Heikki Kukkonen. Picture taken in July 2015.
