Javan Mynas having lunch

Javan myna, also known as white-vented myna (Acridotheres javanicus, jaavanmaina in Finnish) lives mainly in Java, but can be found also elsewhere in Southeast Asia.

Javan mynas are as accomplished in cities – like here in Singaporean fast food restaurant – as they are in padi fields, where they will prey on insects disturbed by water buffalo, often riding the buffalo.
