My crown and red stockings are very stylish

The crowned lapwing (Vanellus coronatus, kruunuhyyppä in Finnish), or crowned plover, is a bird of the lapwing subfamily that occurs contiguously from the Red Sea coast of Somalia to southern and southwestern Africa (this one seen in Kalahari, Nossob, South Africa). It is an adaptable and numerous species, with bold and noisy habits.

I will post every week “Thursday Twitters”, pictures of birds mainly from
Finland and Southern Africa, occasionally also taken elsewhere.
The source of the text is most likely Wikipedia or similar online article.
